Quality is very important in Ironbridge & Telford. Our tourism accommodation providers strive to provide visitors with the highest quality standards to ensure your stay is one to remember for all the right reasons.
Accommodation
You can be assured that all the properties you are viewing have been quality assessed by either VisitBritain* or the AA, or has recently applied for a rating and is awaiting assessment. Please beware ratings may change throughout the year. The National assessing bodies now assess to the same criteria and award one to five stars for all accommodation. The star rating reflects the overall quality of the experience.
Hotels
All hotels that are awarded star ratings will meet minimum standards of cleanliness and service including licensed to serve alcohol, all bedrooms are en suite and dinner served at least 5 days a week(unless town house hotel/metro hotel).
The hotel classifications are; Hotels, Small hotels, Country house hotels, Town house hotels, Metro hotels and Budget hotels.
Guest Accomodation
Guest Accommodation that are awarded star ratings will meet minimum standards, you as a visitor can be confident that you will find clear explanations on booking charges, services offered and cancellation policies, rooms cleaned and beds made daily and full cooked breakfast or substantial continental breakfast.
Guest accommodation classifications are: bed and breakfasts, guest houses, farmhouses, restaurants with rooms, inns, campuses and hostels.
Self Catering
Self Catering accommodation and apartments awarded star ratings you can be confident that you will find no shared facilities except a laundry room in multi-unit sites, clear and unambiguous information prior to booking on all aspects of accommodation including location, facilities, prices deposits and cancellations.
Self catering accommodation classifications include Self Catering, Serviced apartments and approved Caravan holiday homes.
