Get your New Year off to a flying start at RAF Museum Cosford

If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle this Christmas, why not visit the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford during the festive period.

The Museum will be open daily throughout December from 10am to 6pm apart from Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.  The Museum will then close again on New Year's Day and will reopen on Saturday 2nd January 2010 from 10am.

Remember, if you visit the weekend before Christmas (19th and 20th December) Santa will be in his wartime grotto, where he will be dropping off some early Christmas gifts for children at only £2.50 per child between 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.

We're conveniently located just 1 mile from Junction 3 of the M54, only 15 minutes from Wolverhampton and 30 minutes from Birmingham.  So rather than fighting through hoards of last minute shoppers why not treat the children and give yourself some "me" time at the same time - luxuriating amongst a selection of the noblest aircraft ever designed by man?

Not only will you be able to view the award winning National Cold War Exhibition, containing Britain’s three V Bombers, we are also home to the worlds oldest Spitfire and the famous Lincoln bomber.  Best of all, if your credit cards are maxed out after Christmas, a visit to the Museum won’t cost you a penny as admission is FREE!

In the meantime, "Merry Christmas!" from us all.

For further information on Museum opening hours, please call the Royal Air Force Museum, on 01902 376 200 or visit the Museum website at www.rafmuseum.org.
