Telford Town Park is a fantastic place for cycling, from a gentle ride around some of it's hidden tracks to exploring further a field. From the park on National Cycle Route 55, you have access to nearly 35 miles of traffic-free cycling (on old railways lines so never steep). This includes the riverside ride to Bridgnorth which is completely traffic free and best on an autumn day as the colours are stunning.
Cycle equipment, repair and hire needs in the area are capably met at The Bicycle Hub in Telford Town Park located at the back of the new Visitor Centre, by the childrens play area.
From there enjoy the park, quite lanes and cycle tracks and travel down the Silkin Way to the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site in less than half an hour. Most of the Ironbridge Gorge museums are in easy reach of the cyce track network and have cycle parking.
The Tandem Experience are dedicated to tandem cycles and tandem bicycling, offering tandem hire, training and bike tours.
Bicycles By Design hand-build their own steel, aluminium and carbon fibre tandem frames.
