Or take a trip on the Severn Valley Railway in Bridgnorth – a fully restored steam railway that takes visitors along the river valley to Bewdley and Kidderminster.

 Cycling enthusiasts of all abilities find the Ironbridge Gorge a fascinating area to explore. Cycling in the Gorge itself is mostly alongside the River Severn. NCR45, the Mercian Way, which runs alongside the southern bank. This was created along the route of a railway line and is flat and mainly off road.
