For centuries the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge has been an inspiring destination for creativity and in particular the flourishing tile and ceramics industries.

Today as a World Heritage Site, the tradition of creative skills lives on as many crafts people and artists have once again chosen to work here.

Today it is equally fascinating as a World Heritage Site and the area continues to attract craftspeople and artists who have chosen to settle here and have developed a 'ribbon of creativity' for visitors to enjoy.

You can choose to drive between the sites or park at anyone of them and walk, a round trip of around 3 miles crossing over the River Severn using the Jackfield & Coalport Memorial footbridge.

Fusion is home to 5 resident artisans located in a contemporary new building, completed in 2007, rising distinctively out of the footprint of some of the original buildings at Jackfield Tile Museum; its opening marks a new and exciting period in the history of Jackfield.

Maws Craft Centre is situated in the former buildings of Maw & Co, who in the 1880's were one of the most important tile makers in England. The impressive buildings have been restored and now are home to a number contemporary artisans.
