Ribbon of Creativity |
For centuries the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge has been an inspiring destination for creativity and in particular the flourishing tile and ceramics industries.Today as a World Heritage Site, the tradition of creative skills lives on as many crafts people and artists have once again chosen to work here. Today it is equally fascinating as a World Heritage Site and the area continues to attract craftspeople and artists who have chosen to settle here and have developed a 'ribbon of creativity' for visitors to enjoy. You can choose to drive between the sites or park at anyone of them and walk, a round trip of around 3 miles crossing over the River Severn using the Jackfield & Coalport Memorial footbridge.
