Weston unveils spooky treats
Weston Park is going all spooky this Halloween so come along and explore all the weird and wonderful goings on – from 4pm on Friday 31st October 2008.
The 17th century stately home on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border will be offering a wide variety of creepy activities to scare all the family. You will need to wrap up warm as you board the Phantom Express which takes passengers deep into the woods, the only way back is to follow the pumpkin lantern trail lighting the way.
After taking part in the scary walk guests will enjoy a sausage sizzle in the Stables Courtyard where there will be traditional Halloween games and story telling.
Andrea Webster, Marketing Executive at Weston Park comments: “We are really looking forward to our first Halloween event at Weston Park. Children are encouraged to come in fancy dress and there will be prizes for the spookiest costume.”
The event runs from 4pm-9pm and is suitable for children aged between three and eleven years; ticket prices include the ride on the Phantom Express, spooky games and the sausage sizzle.
Andrea adds: “All the little ghosts and ghouls, wizards and witches will go away with a spooky goody bag to take home.”
The gates open at 4pm with access through Blymhill Gate, just off the A5 and the event finishes at 9pm. Pre-booking is required. Ticket prices are £25 for a family (2 adults and 2 children) Adult + Child £13, Adults £6.00 and Children £8.00 (4-12 years) and include; a ride on the Phantom Express, Sausage Sizzle, Halloween fun and games and Spooky Goody Bag.
